MA

It has taken a while but I finally have my MA transcript. It has been a long story, involving a copy bouncing around the world, then the copy being sent by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority back to me so that I could send the copy to the University of Surrey (which had lost my records, though they knew I had been in the university and had an MA), who could then create an original.

Now my thought is when I will get a letter back from NZQA. I sent the transcript today, the 29th July 2011. So it should get to Wellington on Wednesday, plus or minus a day, which would be the 3rd of August. Then they should be able to get my qualifications assessed within two weeks or so, which would be approximately the 17th of August. Then three or four days to get the letter sent to me in Dunedin, which would mean something like the 20th August. Then a day or so to get my NZQA letter certified by the pricipal, so I could be sending off that certified letter on the 23rd August to School Support Limited (aka Limited Support for Schools) in Christchurch. It should arrive there at the end of that week, e.g. by Friday 26th August.

Then the Limited Support for Schools should take two weeks to get my salary assessed, and I should get my salary assessed more accurately by 9th or so of September.
Which is about the time that my wife goes on holiday to South Africa, leaving me and my middle son on our own.
